Plastic granulator granulation process:

  1.  First put the plastic raw material into the inlet of the plastic granulator, and send it into the inside of the main body by the feeding wheel.
  2.  Inside the body, the plastic raw material is subjected to high temperature melting and forms a uniform melt while stirring and rotating.
  3.  When the melt reaches a certain level of fluidity, it flows out of the outlet of the main body.
  4.  The melt is then cooled by the cooling water and a solid substance is formed in the cooling water.

The working principle of plastic granulator

We know that plastic granulators are a common mechanical device that can make plastic into particles. So how does it work?
The working principle of the plastic granulator is actually very simple, that is, the plastic material is heated, and then the material is put into a cooling water through the mechanical arm. When the material enters the water, it becomes a small particle. The small particles are then cut into large particles by a rotating blade.

Composition of plastic granulator

Plastic granulator is a commonly used mechanical equipment, it can cut plastic raw materials into granules, is the necessary equipment for the manufacture of plastic products. The working principle of the plastic granulator is to melt the plastic raw material, and then cut the molten plastic into granules.

Plastic granulator is mainly composed of three parts: mechanical components, electrical equipment, and control system. Mechanical components mainly include spindles, gears, transmission belts, motors, reducers, air cooling devices, discharge devices, supports, etc. Electrical equipment mainly includes frequency converters, control cabinets, cooling fans, and water-cooling devices. The control system mainly includes a human-machine interface board (HMI) and a PLC (programmable logic controller).
Before using plastic granulators, we need to process the plastic raw materials to a size suitable for use. The processed plastic raw material is then put into the machine for further processing, cutting it into granules.
